They better not put a LIE on his DAC or anything else. He did not abandon it, is not leaving it under dispatch and as already stated he's delivering it in the Rockwall TERMINAL tomorrow and we're going to go get him........ Either way, we have a better option which was the plan from the beginning, and all the OTHER issues already stated. Please read the whole story before judging.

I guess that means Spencerian takes this thread from here
Ever seen a grown man cry? You very well may if I stay much longer. So much has happened in the last week, that I don't have time to tell it all. Here are the "cliff notes" My hometime was LOST in the computer. My new DM is defunct. I sat for 12 hours today waiting on a load. I got one. Due 600 miles away, in 12 hours. No problem except i was awake MOST of the day waiting for my new load assignment. My old DM had his CHIT together. Night dispatch gave me hell again.

He did, and got turned down for his work history again...and told to reapply in 6 months.....

Unfortunately the rest of your cliff notes are VERY familiar, especially the sitting, and then dispatching like you have a fresh start. Sorry to hear its going so badly for you :? I hope you can get some of them resolved or find something better for you. I bet that local job is looking really good right about now.....

Yes, hometime was "lost".
I called John Bledsoe. I don't know exactly who he is, but he said he would handle some issues. One is: he looked up my hometime. I told him I have been out almost 6 weeks, and would like more than 3 days off. He said, "huh, your hometime isn't in here". Then he tried to blame my old DM. I told him RUSSELL was able to find it. So he approved me for 4 days off. I got about 10 messages from night dispatch the other night. I was 350 miles from my drop. It had a drop time of 6am. I started rolling at 11:30pm. Night dispatch called and TOLD me I was going to be late. I have never had a late load. Bobby from dispatch told me "this will be one". My load dropped 30 minutes early.

You stated early in this thread that your husband does not want to be a job hopper. He will now be viewed as a job hopper. 6 months is not enough time to evaluate a company. If he is going to be a truck driver he is going to have get used to being late for hometime, changing his hometime and keep track of every pay check to be sure he is getting paid for his expenses. You have to take care of a problem as soon as you find out not let it go. This may be harsh but if you want the truth about truck driving I am giving it to you. It is a difficult occupation and someday you will realize that there is no perfect company and if he is going survive he is going to have to be persistent and flexible. People with families and young children should ask themselves why would I want a dangerous job and only see my kids once a week at best? You dont need the job for benefits because you stated earlier that you do not believe in health insurance. It is hard for me to believe that he cannot find a local job where he is home every night. You may have to take a pay cut for a while but isn't being a father the most inportant thing?
