I'm honestly doing it by choice. I could sit at home and collect unemployment and haul cars for cash and probably make a whole lot more than I can driving for JB Hunt, maybe maybe not? When I was on the road with Roadway I talked to alot of different drivers at truckstops. I had alot of time to kill so I didn't arrive to early, so I talked to alot of drivers. Several JB driver's had alot of positive things to say.
What do I have to lose but my time? and I have a whole lot to gain than just a pay check. If I don't like it I will appreciate my job when Roadway calls me back. If I do like it? It was a good experience.

And besides sitting at home I don't really get to listen to Opie and Anthony much unless I listen to them on the computer. So I guess you can say I like my XM and Opie and Anthony so much I just want to go drive a truck so I can listen to them all day long.8)

ps.... and so I can see a WOW every once and a while (Stern fan might not understand)

Not yet ken, I posted on the other thread that I had been waiting for a truck. They called today and told me they had one and I had to go back to Columbus to get it. On the way up to get it I kept telling myself that if it's a old pile of sh*t I was going back home and forgetting the idea of driving for JB. I get to the yard and found it and I am quite impressed, actually very impressed. It's an 06 Columbia with 100k, it's clean and not beat up. So my Dispatcher tells me to get an empty trailer and give her the trailer number and she would dispatch me. I get the load and it doesn't load till tomorrow (1400), so I came back home instead of staying in the truck all night. It's a short beer run from Columbus to Lexington, Ky. So we shall see where it goes from here? Hopefully I get good miles and make a couple bucks and have a good Christmas for the kids.
