I can say that Im having no problem at all hiring owner ops with this program. And in reality, thats what I care about. I love the jobs that are easy to fill and this is one of them.
That is because there are suckers born every minute, who don't realize what the bottom line is.

C.R.England came out with their $1.50 per mile "Superpay" a few months ago, and started advertising this fact all over the place. There was one, teeny, tiny, little problem - it was only $1.50 per mile for any trip under 100 miles, and their average trip was over 500 miles.

So I ask you once again, Sheepdancer - what is the average linehaul (not the per-mile, but the GROSS linehaul before any percentage taken out), what is the average length of haul, and what does the average Owner Operator GROSS per week under this new program?

I know you have the answers to these questions, and I challenge you to put up, or shut up.

Hey REV:

You and I both know you will not get a truly detailed answer on that question.

Sheepdancer is a pro! He will only provide the information that makes it look too good to be true. And you all know what they say about that.

If he really broke it down then everyone would see that it really is not the Holy Grail that he boasts about. He is too worried about getting them "in the door" as quickly as possible. While their head is still spinning from orientation then they find out the reality they stepped into. But then it's too late. They already burnt their bridge and are forced to stay and give it a try. Then 3 months down the road sheepdancer is looking for someone else to fill that drivers seat.

Hmmm lets see....I can waste my time answering questions for dollarshort and Rev who are just wanting to start crap........Or I can spend my time answering questions for drivers who are truly interested in this in PMs, which I have been doing since this thread started....I will choose the drivers who are truly interested.

But please, Rev and dollar keep posting and keep this thread on top. Perhaps eventaully I might give you a little commission. Thanks for helping me make money and giving all of us a good laugh.

Your psychic skillz are lacking. You won't answer the questions because you know the answers will stop the SUCKERS from calling.

The thing you don't realize, is that everyone is laughing at you, and the "smoke and mirrors" pay that JB Hunt is offering.

Thats funny, the PMs Im getting are drivers laughing at you. But hey, I welcome drivers who want to laugh at me...Im a funny guy.
I will admit, Im not actively recruiting drivers out here....Im just out here for fun like everyone else. But occasionally I do hire drivers from these boards, ( about 3 or 4 a week PM me) I will say this again. I just dont think you get it. The funniest thing about this board and these threads is that You REV, are actually helping me make money. Whats even funnier is I can tell you that, and you will disagree and keep doing the same things over and over. ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU.

I could care less. If some idiot is stupid enough to believe the dribble you are spouting about $1.50 per mile, then that is their problem. The fact that you can sleep at night screwing other human beings over like that is what amazes me.

If I am wrong about JB Hunt, prove it - answer the questions I asked. I will eat crow if I am wrong.

Whats even funnier is I can tell you that, and you will disagree and keep doing the same things over and over. ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU.
I expect a 20% commission, as I have no conscience.

Once again....I have answered the questions you have asked with drivers in PMs. Why do I need to answer them for you?.....You dont want to drive for us. And personally, I dont want to hire you...You spend too much time on message boards and not driving...

Yeah hevan forbid you actually get a respectable amount of money for what you do, How dare you spend time with your family or doing other things rather than just click away mile after mile. You should only be paid for the miles you drive, not for dock detention, sleeper berth pay, securement of loads, pretrips, post trips, fueling, and nonsense like that. Now get out there and drive and maybe a great company like JB might consider you! Your not a good enough asset yet.

You're right - because I have no desire to be a steering wheel holder. Some of us have figured out how to make a good living without destroying our trucks in the process by racking up tens of thousands of miles a month.
