well I found out why he was not hired for celadon. Digby--I guess to satisfy INS requirements-- had him down as a trainee. even though he was driving solo since being back. no re-training-- he liked 6 days, I think, of being there 4 months!! & all they required was 3 months, but they wanted school as he has been out so long. (&&^%%*&.
why they could not keep him as a trainee I do not know. but they do take felons after so many years. Has to be because he cannot load or unload.
also stranded him at the digby terminal in ft. worth --would not get him a bus ticket. He is on the net putting in applications like crazy.
I am now worried about getting his last two paychecks?? digby is out so who pays him??

celedon would schould have assumed all of erin (digby) liabilitys it may take some phone time or a trip to the labor dept to get worked out.
but if digby was marking your buddy as a trainee to satisfy ins req that seems a little shady possibly illegal to provide misinformation to the ins or to bilk the gov out of more training dollars. any way youll be on the phone alot .
