TMC gave you MULTIPLE chances to train with them and every time you blew them off without notice. They were more than accomodating to you. (Remember we were supposed to drive there TOGETHER???)
Here's the facts, you don't work for, nor have you ever worked for TMC or any other trucking company so please shut up. Talking without ANY shred of experience is akin to talking out of your a$$.

not taking any ones side here but i have a fiend who worked for TMC and they WILL run you in the grond. they did i tot him. BUT once he told his dispatcher to calm down with all of the hot loads they were really good to him. i guess what i am trying ot say is that TMC is not perfect and i have seen them run guys hard but also on TMC's side they alos calmed down once my buddy said that he would no longer run that hard any longer. even tho he kinda went at his dispatcher with a BIG attitude and was actually going in there to turn in his keys because he was tired of it but he ended up staying and actually made MORE money after talking things out. best of luck to you with TMC i would have liked to go with them back when i first started but ended up fallling through, but regaurdless of what ANYONE says, ALL companies have their ups and downs

I think most companies will run you hard if you LET them. In fact, from a business standpoint, it makes sense to find each driver's limits and run them just below them. That is the best way for a company to maximize their revenue and I see nothing wrong with a company trying their hardest to make as much money as possible. I'm happy when a company I like and that treats me well is rewarded too. Their success is my success.
The key here (and in any trucking job) is to be your "own man" and COMMUNICATE your concerns, complaints, or comments with your employer. The difference with TMC is that they actually LISTEN. In the beginning I too felt at odds with my fleet manager and requested a change. I got a new fleet manager IMMEDIATELY and now have no problem whatsoever making all my runs on time and even early.

Hard work? You're darn right! Enjoyable? For the right person with the necessary attitude, absolutely! My body's looking better every day!

For those of you who wanted to know about what USMC Vet has been up to these days. I talked to the owner of the school that USMC went to, and he told me that USMC isn't even driving. He got booted from so many companies that he went back to his old job of stocking shelves at Walmart. This dude doesn't even drive, he whined so much, they got rid of him.

ha ha, what a loser.

I had to respond since I saw my name in here, I'm not sure who Hawkeye is but I do know that his best friend drives for us and he knows a lot of TMC drivers and office people here from what I've heard.

Trust me, I have better things to devote my time to instead of worrying about USMC Vet but by the way it looks, he's not making too many friends on this board.
