My BP is 112/72, I am 5'10" tall and weigh 165 lbs and in very good shape. I live NW of Little Rock, Ar. on a farm and dig up 100 lb rocks and put them in my tractor loader all the time. Also, been a runner for many years. Don't smoke or drink or drug.
I think it is odd to turn a person down and not say why. Maybe calling this odd is being kind......:-)

Are you a big person? What does that have to do with the price of tea in China. Nothing is what. Just because some one is a big person doesn't mean that they can't and won't do the job.

Most times they wont tell you the reason. Its a legal issue.
They are covering their backsides by not releasing the info. Since your not a big person I cant figure it out. TMC is pretty prejudice with whom they hire. Super doubtful that unless its a mistake they will ever tell you the reason.

well i am a big guy and i can tell you this at 270 pounds i can run circles around most other guys i work with and they are In a lot better shape than i am as far as body goes. it don't matter what your size is, its your ability to do the job. and anyone who thinks different is wrong. size doesn't matter in any thing, what matters is the ability and the will to do such a job. and if you don't believe me let me take you through a day in my shoes.

They would not give me a reason. Any ideas why I would be turned down? All other companies I applied to approved me. tia TMC was one of the first places I applied with after school. Their recruiter came in and did the big sell during class. Almost everyone put in an app with them. So after a few days I called to check on my app and they said they turned me down. No reason given just turned down. I emailed one of their recruiters on this board to try and get some help with answers. No luck. He told me he could not help but that I could reapply again after I got some experience. Huh? I thought they accepted student drivers....at least that is what the recruiter said who visited our school. I went back to my instructor at school and he was a little upset with TMC. Said that it happens more often than not that they turned down new student drivers from the school. Yet, he has the recruiter begging him to come and speak at school at least once a month. Try Maverick Transportation out of Little Rock. They accept students and have a pretty good rep as far as flatbeds go. Had LTL not opened up for me then I would have gone here myself.

PM me with your first and last name and I'll let you know why you were turned down. As for USMCVET, I'm now TOTALLY convinced that you're a fool. Every chance you get on MULTIPLE posts on CAD you tell people TMC will run you into the ground. I work there, make GOOD money, don't run very hard and am treated well. TMC gave you MULTIPLE chances to train with them and every time you blew them off without notice. They were more than accomodating to you. (Remember we were supposed to drive there TOGETHER???)
Here's the facts, you don't work for, nor have you ever worked for TMC or any other trucking company so please shut up. Talking without ANY shred of experience is akin to talking out of your a$$.
