I start orientation on this upcoming monday, and so far I am so impressed with May. I did drive for swift for 1 month and 1 week. What a nightmare... they totally use you, while I was driving 10 hours atleast each and every day, my mentor was playing video games or watching movies.... during the first two weeks this was fine, didnt bother me, because I had to learn to drive.... well damn the last two weeks I was doing great, he was getting paid for all my miles while he sat on his fat ass. well anyway got tired and ran from swift... Im so thankful that May decided to pick me up.

ok here is a question, I spoke to a May recruiter and asked what are the average miles per week... not a year book answer but what I could actually make. they told me the average was 2800 miles per week. Im just curious what you guys or your significant other is averaging per week.

Last week my husband would have driven from
Monday the 28th to Sunday September 3rd 2,719 miles

from Monday Sept 4 to Sunday Sept 10 ( this would include Monday morning drop) 2,568 miles at least the best I figured out at this point.

Again congratulations! Keep us updated!:P

Are you going to be doing the 11 Western or the 48 states? What kind of truck are you hoping to get?

Well from what I have read so far May sounds like they do give a #@#t about there drivers, but...when I called them about otr 48, out an average of 21 days, they said more than likely I would get a petercar with a 63" sleeper man that is tight quarters for 3 week stints. what gives ? be safe.
