Hope it works out well for you. Texas freight is part of the reason my husband is still longhaul ..well..ok..a very small part, but one of the reasons. Mostly he's just madly in love with his FM

Hey Goldie...are you Flatbed Fred? A long time ago I went to your website flatbedfred.com and read all about your TMC adventure. You are the reason I started to think about TMC. Prior to that I had no knowledge of them. I think we even spoke onthe phone once. The last I knew you were driving for TMC on a daily run in NYC...what happened?? Do you still work for them? If not, why did you leave?

Just curious.....

National Gyp and our drill pipe pays great. If you want better pay then you could always pull OD a/c's from Laredo.
Who is your new FM?

You are a rumor, recognizable only as deja vu, and dismissed just as quickly. You don't exist. You were never even born. Anonymity is your name, silence is your native tongue. Since Christmas, I have had load offers, from New England, that pay 77 cents a mile to the truck.

I don't try to figure my pay by the mile. I just check what is in my pocket at the end of the week.

I was just offered and accepted a TMC dedicated position. I will be hauling Peterbilt parts from our yard in Laredo, TX to the Peterbilt plant in Denton, TX, bouncing to the Peterbilt plant in Corsicana, TX and hauling parts to our yard in Laredo, TX. If there were no runs available that day I would be runnining Line Haul.

I will be paid mileage. Pay will be OK, not great. What will be great, is that I live in Austin, TX. Both legs will be passing through the house and home every weekend. Since the runs are dedicated, I don't think time will be critical on the Laredo, TX end. They will be at Denton, I think they have to be delivered at 0600. I don't know about Corsicana. I should be able to be home every night except if I have a Line Haul run.

I'm excited!
