The only reason why I THINK my pet ferret will fly is because it's kept in a cat carrier, which is more like having a box with personal stuff in it than having a cat or dog loose to chance damaging the interior. We'll see I guess.

True enough Fred..
tearing up the interior is the reason that the have a No pet policy...

I have seen drivers get out of their trucks, just covered up in pet hair... I can't imagine setting near them while eating in the cafe...

but a well kept, trained pet would be different...
I think the Largest house cat I have ever seen, was snoozing on the dash of a big truck...

Yes Jerod, Mr. Lamar has a valid point. Be completely forthright with the information that you post here - lest we TMC dogs be forced to shame you.

If you make statements like, "Throwing a tarp takes an hour, that's $10 an hour.", we will correct you. There are very few loads that can be tarped in an hour, shingles and insulation perhaps. Then there is the removal and rolling of said tarp.

We would welcome any company information that you could pass along. I would be most interested in the turnover rate.

Most of us are very positive about the company, perhaps devoted. We do, however, reserve the right to whine on occasion. Whining is what truck drivers do best.

Graciously,

von

PS Fred... Marry the girl

We can't get married yet. In NYS, she can't get a divorce until she is legally seperated from her husband for one year since he is contesting the divorce and being a general prick. NOW he's suing HER for child support! She's 23 and he's 37 imagine that!!!
Then, because of court issues I'll not go into HERE, we STILL won't be able to get married "right away" because there should be "a period of engagement prior to a marriage in order to show thought and responsablity on the part of the plaintiff with regards to the safety and welfare of her son so that she may gain and keep custody of him." or some bull$hit like that.
Courts SUCK!

Well, I made it through the orientation in DSM. Made it home around 4:45 am today. Waiting for the call from my trainer.

Spoke briefly with von the first morning I was there. Good to put a face to a name.

I learned a great deal. Some of the instructors have 'attitude'. In some of the instances I can understand why. Michael the 'pervert' from the simualators was the most help to me in the backing yard. The food on the weekends left a lot to be desired. Lunch was free anyway.

I'll be driving 154 miles to meet the trainer, paid for 124  . We lost three for failing the physical, and 4 more bailed out during the last week. Several of the Texas guys went home without be assigned to a trainer.

I'm gonna finish some laundry, get some lunch, watch some NCAA football, and nap for the rest of the day.

Talk to you later.

No laptop and means no internet for this old man until I get home time.

It seems everyone wants to know my affiliation with TMC. To be honest I am recruiter here. Been recruiting for 6 months. I have been with TMC for over 2 years now just in another dept. I will be honest with any questions, I promise. Understand though we are a privately held company and some info is not allowed to be disclosed in a public forum. So if I dont answer something most likely thats the reason why. I definetly dont want to get into any arguments about anything, thats not what I am here to do. look forward to helping anyone I can.

Sorry dudes but no pets means all pets. I dont write the rules just pass them along.

PS. New southern regional now available for drivers living in eastern TX, southern AR, LA, MS, AL, GA and SC!
