Goin fast on the flat is one thing, but fallin off the top of pass 60mph gross'n 105,000 er a 130,000 is much more fun.
And much more stupid.

I can't say that 127 wouldn't have changed my mood.

Although, I have to admit, I let a 4 wheeler at 106 go one night without writing, back in my early days. I doubt I'd do it again, although with the same circumstances I might - I woke his wife up and showed her the radar (which I used at the time) and told her I thought it was best she drove. Somehow I don't think that anything I could have done would have been much worse.

Sometimes creativity can get the point across just as well, or better, than putting pen to paper! I am a big believer of that.

That's about the top real speed, those specs will go.
But how did you know it?

Are you really buying all the fantasy stories? No truck tire in the world is designed to handle speeds over 100MPH, any manufacturer will tell you the belts would separate in no time from the flexing and heat build up,,,jeeeez

It was during the winter on ice so the heat was not a problem

Sorry weather is not the issue,,,the heat builds up inside the tires, the belts and sidewalls from all the tire deflection at those speeds,

No air, they were special tires that can't get flat like on fire trucks.
