sec is nothing-play a regular season like everybody else in the country it would be a game.

Hope OSU decided to lube up at halftime, they got ripped a new one. Looked like Florida was playing Western Carolina out there. Didn't matter what D OSU had, blitz them, Leak found his open guy, stand back in pass coverage, he still found someone open. 1 word, OUCH

However, the good thing about it is that the National Champion should be Boise State. Don't give me any guff about their schedule...they are a division I team, went undefeated (beating 6 bowl teams in the process), and beat Oklahoma in a major bowl. By all rights, they ARE the #1 team in the country.

Jim Delaney can now go take a flying lesson off the Empire State Building, particuarly since his Big 10 got destroyed in the 2 biggest bowl games of the year. Do I hear the pitter-patter of a playoff system coming down the hall?

 

Man,some game,huh? :shock: Well,since I had to work last night,it looks like I missed an old fashion Florida Gator blow out. I was with my family on Sunday before I left for work,and my brother-in-law,and I talked about the game. He is from Michigan,and of course,he hates Ohio St,but he told me that Florida aint got a chance. I told him that I figured that the Gators would have pulled it off,but I didn't dream that it would have been 41-14. Ive been watching Sports Center,and as they say,anything can happen.

Yeah,Boise State should be top ranked. They are the only undefeated team in D-1. I just saw where the College Gameday guys made their Top 5 pre-season picks for '07. All of them were pretty much the same. None of them picked Boise State for the Top 5. I also think that they need a playoff system. High school does it,small NCAA schools do it,so can D-1. Urban Myer(spelling)at Florida used to coach at Utah. The last year that he was there,before moving to Florida,he went undefeated at Utah. He then said that they need playoffs. It would be interesting to see,if they had playoffs. They got the whole month of December. There is plenty of time for it. Well,what to do now,that football season is over. :P

 

Combined W-L record of Florida's opponents=110-70. Gators beat 4 ranked teams. Combined W-L record of Boise Sts opponents 82-82, they beat 1 ranked team. Your theory don't hold water. Naysayers, GATORS ARE CHAMPS, get over it.

 

I'm with Batman on this one. A playoff system is WAAAAY overdue and can't understand why the powers that be in college football don't see that! Yeah, I yelled and rooted for the Gators last night even though they beat my beloved Razorbacks this past season. We SEC teams may go at each other fast and furious when we play each other in the regular season but we stick by and support each other in the major bowl games, especially the BCS championship game last night. GREAT JOB, GATORS!! You guys brought a national championship to the SEC and did us proud! :rock:
