I have been told by a few Drivers that Trucking Company's are now doing Hair Drug Test Instead on Urinalysis. Is this True?? If so which company's are doing It??

 

Why, going to have a problem passing if they hand you a Dixie cup?

 

Only a drug user would be worried about this, and if that is the case, hopefully ALL companies will start hair testing.

I doubt seriously if its all companies, but its a great rumor to start anyway.

 

I hope it is true. I would like to see that test replace the UA.

I just did a recertification and the nurse was SUPER hot. Felt kinda dirty handing her a cup of my pee.

I would much rather do the hair test. I hear they are more accurate anyway and much less instances of false positives.

 

Last I heard the hair test was still not approved by the D.O.T therefore should not be allowed for truck drivers taking a DOT Regulated test.

I Think it's because walking through smoke will stick to your hair and it's worst for course hair because thicker hair will fail easier because substances will stick more to that than fine hair.

It's all B.S I'd like to see the lawmakers subject to random drug test. I'd love to see a congressman being told he has four hours to give a clean sample, otherwise he's automatically impeached and can never be in congress again.

McDdonalds drug tests just like everyone else, if you are going to do drugs. prepare to be unemployed

 

While a company can use hair testing they still have to use a urine test for drug testing.

Go work as a delivery/warehouse person for a furniture store. I know hundreds of people who only work in such places because they don't test for drugs. I know dozens of furniture store owners who regularly use drugs too.

It was all a real eye opener to this innocent little virgin boy who had never seen the dark underbelly of the world before. Trucking really took away my innocence.

(Though I have yet to see a real live lot lizard in a truckstop parking lot. As far as I know, they're really just a myth. Not that I'm looking to get this myth busted mind you. Sometimes innocence is a good thing.)
