yeah see thats kind of my problem. i've been dealing with my customer so i havent been doing broker work much. pulled a chr load today, a coyote load last week. i'm going to be joining some load boards soon.

Subscribing to a couple of loadboards is a good way to generate some leads and find loads. Brokers can tell how long you have been in business from your MC number. Some can check how long you have had your authority by looking at the fmcsa website. Time will pass and you should not have any problem hauling for most brokers after you have been in business after 6 to 12 months.

why do what? i'm making money. my brokers are great i just dont see the harm in getting more. i fax/scan my invoices 2 days later at only 1.5% i'm paid. 24 hours i call someone is there.

This can't be true. I just got my authority recently and I'm already signed up and approved with JB. They call me constantly trying to route me to an empty. I haven't pulled anything for them yet though, I don't like the idea of running around to get empties when they refuse to tell me what kind of preplan they have on me until i get the empty. Call and talk to their power only people and I guarantee they'll get you up and running. Make sure you choose the hybrid pay plan, the rest seem like crap. Also, when it comes to loadboards, I'm on several and i've had the best luck with DAT. Getloaded.com and 123loadboard.com are pretty good but DAT still has way more freight and a lot of shippers sign a contract with DAT agreeing to post loads on their board before any other and not post them on another loadboard for a certain period of time.
