Anyway, PSC Industrial Outsourcing Inc, they are huge, with offices in all but 6 states, even Alaska and HI. Went to the office yesterday to see if I could see anything with my dot number on it, none found but did find someone in office and I went in and asked if the person worked there and the guy told me yep and handed me his business card. Turns out he is a Chemical Supervisor at this company. Did some research and I have in hand now the accident report (paid 17 bucks and got it downloaded over the net), drove by his place and found where he lived at.

Had company truck with correct dot number on door of truck, the PSC Industrial Outsourcing. Sent them an nasty email and waiting for answers for what they did and what they are going to do about this.

What advice would you give in this and has anyone ever ran into this.

We still seem to have some gremlins running amok in the forum. They are still trying to get everything cleared up. Hopefully, you won't have to worry much longer about getting banned.

I don't understand why an accident by a chemical supervisor should show up on your safe stat. I would not think that he would be driving an 18 wheeler if he was a supervisor.

If it were me I would want more information about the accident. I would check the accident report to see what company was listed to see whether they had your name or theirs on the report. There is a chance that the officer who investigated transposed the wrong number. Are the numbers similar?

Rick....This is just my opinion and suggestion...do with it what you will.

I would start with the Police Officer whom wrote up the original accident report! Ask him or her how they managed to record the wrong DOT number on the "Accident Investigation Report". Get their response in writing and forward it, along with everything you have hard copies of, to the FMCSA regional and national offices.

Get your history cleared up and that ISS number should go way down!

Anything you can get out of PSC would be extra cheese!

PSC stands for "Philips Services Company" and you are right. They are fricking huge...so don't let up on them. A lot of their facilaties are "franchise" operations. Small businesses that aligned with PSC for the "National" name brand. Here in the south, "All Waste" is their biggest "franchisee".

PSC Industrial, Environmental, Remediation and Container Services

GMAN, I have the accident report sorry about not including the accident was with a Ford 350 pickup and he was pulling a trailer. He got hit in the rear and was not at fault. In AL you can go and search for anyones name and if they have a accident it will pull up.

Did this and this guy had an accident on 9-6-2008 hit and run, not his fault, not hauling anything just in company pick up, and this one on 10-26-2008.

On Carrier Name it shows PSC Industrial INC, but dot is my number not even close, mine starts with at 1 and their starts with a 2, and carrier mailing address is my address. Someone told me this was a Federal Fraud Case since it involved my DOT number, don't know about this.

Have you checked their MC number to see if it is close to your DOT number? There can be people with a DOT number that matches a MC number. If the guy who wrote the report called up the wrong information that might explain the confusion. It doesn't make much sense that a large company would have your DOT number and mailing address.

How do you check their MC Number GMAN? On the company snapshot it does not have a mc or mx number.

You can do a search for them using their MC number, DOT number or name. Since you know the name you should be able to do a search that way and it will pull up their MC and DOT numbers. You can check a carrier's safe stat the same way. Go into the safer system. www.safer.sys and that will pull up the page you need. I would check to see if the numbers are close to yours. If so the officer who wrote the report just messed up. If not, then something else may be going on.

It does not show a MC Number on the snapshot. Some of them do have a MC Number as they are many on there for PSC Industrial Outsourcing. I can pull it up that way or enter the dot number and it will come up, but no MC Number.

I just pulled them up under "company snapshot" and "licensing and insurance." I saw a MC number on both. Under the company snapshot it is directly under the DOT number. In the licensing and insurance it is listed as a docket number.

Sent you a PM GMAN. Tried to get the mc number but could not. I could get some of the places with the mc number but the dot number was not the same.
