Is there a grace period on IFTA stickers?

19th of January, 10 days after I said I didn't have the stickers, they've done nothing and seem to be expecting me to pull them out of my azz. You're the second one now who has said they could write me a ticket if they're in such a mood. Perhaps it's time to declare I'm shutting down until the stickers are on the truck...
 Who is expecting you to pull these stickers out your butt?

If you have the sticker,...put it on before the deadline. I had mine mailed to me in Grand Junction last year, it was too cold to put it on and the DOT didn't care, 1 day after the due date,....$175.00 ticket. It all depends on who is having a bad day and if they have ,....they have you,...no excuses.
Mine have been on this year since Jan 1. Take you hand out of your glove,..warm up a spot and stick that puppy on.

Thats a good idea,..but,.......I can hear it now,....."Driver, that sticker needs to be stuck to the outside of your truck, cause we think you are using it on more than one truck,......here's your prize........"

My dispatcher has been away, he came back today. When he's around, I get treatment as a O/O who will be around for awhile and who is worthy of support and attention. When he's gone, I get the treatment as 'somebody else's' driver- they don't appreciate what I do for them and consequently don't take care of me like he does.
Not only that, though. My dispatcher just seems like a good, conscientious, competent manager.

That figures, is just like that for a person you work with in the business of trucking doesn't know the reg's.
It's safe to say that you have untill the last day in February to get your sticker and paperwork, till then the 08 will work just fine,...and thats what the DOT says. Why not copy the letter posted here and send it to the offending dumbspatcher, so they won't stress out the next driver that they want to prove they are clueless.

I just got my stickers and paperwork in yesterday. If you haven't gotten your paperwork and stickers in as yet they you may want to print the letter off the website about the extension.

Cold shmold! No excuses girls!
How hard is it to get a heat gun, hair dryer, propane torch to heat up the area where the stickers get stuck? Last year they were slow with mailing the stickers. Not so this year. Mine on Jan.1.

I have a smart battery charger hardwired to my batteries. Whenever the generator is running, it's delivering 20 amps to the batteries.
The system does have limitations. I have to get out to start and stop it, I have to refill the gas tank, and since the oil capacity on it is so small, I have to add oil quite often (usually once a day if I'm running it for 12 hours or more). But for the $2500 invested in it, it's worth it. I know a guy you made fun of his "cheap" Troybilt/Briggs&Stratton gas gen and it doesn't need oil added between changes. And it cranks out 5K watts steady 6250 surge! And it was only $500! Who's Yer Daddy?
