They likely won't 'read' them with a fine toothed comb, but will look for the point you are trying to make. If it is on a specific piece of legislation, they will break out a tally sheet of some sort and mark you 'pro' or 'con'.

If you can find a specific bill, it's great to start out a letter, email, or phone call with "I support (or am against) S.1942" (or whatever the bill number is. BTW, I have no idea what S.1942 is )

Lots of companies operate at a loss for periods of time. For some sectors, it's just the cycle. I think the idea is to make enough money in good times to offset the bad times. It's kinda like poker.

How can I tell that they are Mexican trucks? Well the Mexican plates and the giant brahma bull sticker on the door combined with the Trans Am window banner kinda gave it away. I was shocked that the made it pats the San Onofre scales I saw bald tires, no flaps, exhaust leaks, junk.

Congress needs to stop this. We all need to write our Congressional representatives and express our views. That seems to have more impact than anything. The Bush Administration seems to want to ram this down our throats. Some forget that GW has a Mexican sister in law. I believe she is related to Fox, Mexico's president. I am not certain about the relationship. Perhaps we should remember this when we think about this issue. This is certainly not in the best interest of the U.S.
