Are you referring to me catching you being wrong? Because you being wrong and me noticing does not make me a fan. As I've said before.

 

I don't know anything about welding and if he told me I had to idle the truck and beep the horn at the same time, I would have.

That $70 bucks is on top of what the company charges. This is their fee for going through the trouble of picking a name out of a hat. When I called them they acted like they were the supreme DOT authority. I ran out of their forms and they said they would send more for a $35 fee!!! I don't mind paying for something but it was obvious to me that they were in the business of making as much money as possible. They should either have been keeping track of how many forms I had to begin with or sent a bunch in the beginning. It was their attitude on the phone sounding like some 2 bit bill collector. So, I fired them. No big deal, all set with another place.

On another note. My name was given to a truck magazine for an article on flatbed securement. They wanted another perspective from someone new like myself. I already had an interview with the author and getting my picture taken to go along with the article. Should be interesting since I had some tough things to say with regards to common sense and just plain "DUH, what were you thinking".

So I'm all set with my load out Monday and checked the load boards to see what was happening at my destination on Friday afternoon. 3 loads within a 100 mile radius. Oops. Friday should be a hot day so me thinks I may be dead heading out a ways after I unload.

I bolted down that new box yesterday and now need to move all my chains, binders and a bunch of other stuff I don't use that much into it. It's going to take a while to clean out my other box and sort out tons of hardware and other stuff that broke open because of those chains. They just wrapped themselves around everything like a snake then smashed all my nice plastic containers. There's dirt and grease all over so it will feel nice to get that back into shape like it use to be.

I have to replace one of my mudflaps on the trailer also. When my tire shredded before the tire threw melted rubber all over the outside of the flap when the mudflap was sucked up over the blown out tire.

Other than little things like that I'm ready to roll and READY to head back out.
