ive noticed in (ny,nj) just running between the two states, most runs were 100-250 miles, but on average all these little runs paid $450-$750, all of the 75-125 mile runs paid over $450. just wondering if it would be smart for someone to try to get 2 loads a day, that would average about a $1,000 a day gross or $30,000 a month if you busted ass. so can 2 of these runs a day be possible?
or just pick one run from the many available at around$500 and only do one small trip a day, that would gross $3,500 a week and use up very little fuel?

your friend can do it but is there room for you?
I run between Boston and Harrisbug and I do 4 loads a week somewhere in between those areas with weekends off You will pull your hair out juggling daily loads If one load screws up (we didn't order that, we close at 2 on Fri,you are 6th in line...) You could lose a couple of days work There is nothing quick unless you find some sweet deal By and large your blood pressure will go up hoping to unload to pick up the next days work

I am sure there is but its the exception not the rule
Ch Robinsonn may be able to do that or maybe some mega brokers but you don't want 1 broker to owe you money unless you are 100%comfortable with them eg you work for 1 broker he pays in 21 days (which means 30 days) week 1 you make 3000 week 2 you make another 3000 week 3 you make a whopping 3700 week 4 you make another 3000 week 5 you get a check for 3000 and someone you don't even know owes you 9,700 |
