Once more, people are going to disagree over certain things. No problems there. Insults, on the other hand, are not acceptable and if it keeps up, we'll shut it down again. It takes bandwidth and disk space and trolls! :x

I am a bat.
Anyway, just keep it on the up and up, people. When these long threads get out of hand, it takes far too long to go in and edit nastiness. When the complaints start coming in, we'll just go out and lock the thread down. Hate to do that when there's a lot of good info, but there's really no other choice. This ain't the playground.

It is so cold here today I'm glad I didn't leave. I just can't imagine someone having to tarp a load in this weather. It's below zero and with the wind chill it's below -25.
I just went down and took my truck for a little ride. It started real slow even with 4 brand new Optima Yellow top batteries but it fired up quick. Every light on the panel was on and the computer was complaining that everything that could fail was failing. The shop said ignore it for a minute and they all go away. Happens in the cold weather. Yup, he was right. I'm impressed how quick the engine heats up and puts out heat. I'll bet in the old days the trucks never really warmed up. I have a small electric heater and I had that going also. Good day for my Mad Bomber Hat.

How are the load boards looking up that way? My dad and a quite a few of the other O/O's have had a really slow week down here in the Southeast! He has been out since sunday and has only hauled 3 loads. Been a whole lot of sitting and looking for loads down here this week.
