Default Nice catch!!!!

Thanks WildBob!!!

Actually have a E-bay search that also found it but I sure do appreciate the help!!!

I have a car hauler friend who is leaving Fl. tomorrow and will see if he might check it out for me.

Oh----
If anyone would like to compare the rust on a couple of 2001 Peterbilts from up here in the salty north to this Georgia truck, I can e-mail the "ugly pic's" to ya.

Thanks again.
Be good, Jim

I don't know if the FL70 is designed to handle 42,000lbs or not would have to call Freightliner and see.

Now let me run some numbers.

42,000lbs gross - 19,000lbs truck weight = 23,000lbs/5 cars = 4,600lbs apiece so I guess you would be alright.

Default Just talked to the guy....

Well, so far, the e-bay truck, sounds like a nice truck.

He has the re-man engine paperwork and a computer readout on the engine.
Will pass DOT. Clean truck and no leaks on the eng., trans., or hyd cyls.

I asked questions, got straight answers. I hate it when a seller dances around a question and this guy didn't do that.

The only down side is a 6 sp. trans. 10 sp. would be nice.

Still looking but this one might do the job.

NascarFan,

One nice thing about the 5 pack's, you almost can't overload them. Nice to be able to cary a full load and not be worried about your weight.

I'd like to be able to pull a single car enclosed trailer behind it. Lot's of times there is a high paying, enclosed load to be found going in both directions.

Be good, Jim

Default Nope---not me....

WildBob,

Wasn't me who bought it.

In hind sight, I proably should have.
When I spoke to the owner, he said the reserve price was $20,000. If the truck was all he said it was, it would of been a money maker right from the git go.

I am going to call him today and see if it's really sold. If anything falls through I want to know about it.

Be good, Jim
