I did not say I did not pay taxes. The company I worked for was operating under the table. A lot of judgement on here.

Now......Maybe at 54 years old I am just ignorant......but when I see a statement that say's
"I worked under the table for the last 5 years", I figured it means just exactly that. I didn't think it meant that your company was working under the table. (In fact......Unless a government official was involved in helping cover it up, I don't see how a company could work for 5 years under the table) Now....the other thing I think about when I hear "Under the table", is that you were paid in cash, and that those payments were made without the appropriate withholding taxes taken out AND that those payments were not declared as income......Hence the entire term....."Working under the table".
