Let's say we both do 8000 miles a month. You get 5 MPG in your 'large car' and I get 6 MPG in my basic International. At $4/gal price, I get to keep $1,068 MORE than you at the end of the month. To put things into perspective, I can go to the local GM dealer and lease a brand new Cadillac for $700 a month and I will still have spent less money on fuel than you. But hey - your truck does look cooler than mine. I won't argue with that

I don't like Volvo's at all. Mainley because of the inside I just don't care for the dash at all.

I drive a Pete 379 now but, also like Western Star's and Kenworth's. I pull a lowboy so driving an aero truck wouldn't help me much anyhow.

I think he's alluding to the fact that he runs a dump bucket and won't get good fuel mileage even if he had a more aerodynamic truck (not that I consider his Mack Granite to be a 'large car'). Granted, I have still yet to get an aerodynamic truck that got better fuel mileage than my Freightliner Classic. I don't know how that worked...

Seems there is only one concensus here: any truck that isn't paid for is the one that sucks most.

I dont think my mack is a large car lol. Just talking. Only macks that i think are large cars are superliners and CHs. I just laugh when people all talk about the aero BS. I guess to each their own.

I've been reading that some people hate Freightliners, where do you all think the term "freightshaker" came from, you get shook in the cab while the first six pallets over the drive axles get shook, I also hate the International for the same reason. I prefer Volvo's, the 660 and 670 models, because they are smooth riding, IMHO.
