Truck Stop Parking...

Its obvious, and you've even stated i've got more experience at backing, which makes me better than you, kid. But there are those on here who i know are better than me....but you know what? you learn by doing. and just for the fun of it....look up US Port Services, 3700 Village Rd, Norfolk, VA. The building to the north of the 'star' (if you use mapquest)....now tell me that isnt tight when you compare it to a wal-mart dock...... Last edited by Kevin0915; 08-01-2009 at 05:03 PM.

BIG HINT HAWK: NEVER EVER NEVER NEVER LISTEN TO GUYS ON THE CB! Very first thing you do when you set up to back in is turn that thing off. You don't need the distraction and some a**hole is going to think its funny to back you right into a truck. Trust me on this one.

Tell your PM, DM, BM, or whatever you call them that you want a load from here. Langer Juice 16195 Stephens St City Of Industry, CA If you get a trailer in that dock without hitting something you can back. I found a real simple way to get a trailer in that dock.......Give Pedro with the little day cab 10 bucks LOL I have only been there twice and seen more damage to trucks and trailers than I seen in 20 years of being a Distribution Mgr. We use to load between 50-75 Live Loads a day.

there's another place down in escondido, ca. it's the north county times newspaper. the address is: 207 e. pennsylvania ave. the docks are indoor and are located at the corner of juniper & e. valley parkway. to get into them, the driver will have to takeover the intersection on his/her green light, hope that nobody plays interference, and blind-side serpentine. the entrance into the docking area looks somewhat big. it isn't at all. even with a volvo, it was pretty tough. i got flipped off and honked at more times on that day than i have in the last 2 3/4yrs.

LMFAO, oh, hell nawww! i've been there once. it took me about an hour and a half to do it on my own, and with all the mexicans staring, laughing, and finally giving me the thumbs up after getting it in there without hitting anything.
