I had to click on this thread once I saw who it was from. lol ( I thought this should be good lol) so let me get this strait. you moved a barricade to a closed road so that you could try to get down it? then you called the cops on yourself? now your mad because you got a ticket? most states don't have a law for "being stupid" but I think that ticket is the closest the cop could come to finding one. lol and the fact that he called someone out to inspect your truck tells me that you probably handled yourself the same way you do on here. :stupid:
as for your what if's like the what if they park under my trailer and die. what if that was a water main they where fixing and half the dirt under the road was washed out and you just move a barricade and go driving in there and the road caves in? keep up the good work and the great attitude and you will go far! :bigclap:

Belpre makes so much money he just hires someone to do all his backing for him.

I would have called the NON-emergency number for the local PD. I've done it a couple times. Takes a bit longer for them to show up, lets them finish their donut and coffee.
My latest bright idea is to put my road traiangles out, and stop the traffic. If they can't wait 1 minute for me to back out without a spotter, then you free yourself from a small amount of liability. The kid's soccer cones would be easier, I need to get some. Back out, hit the shoulder or right lane with the 4 ways, grab your cones/triangles, and get the f out of there!

I heard that he has a illegal mexican who does his backing for him. He hired the kid straight from Swift school when he heard they finally found one who could back up.

again, you obviously read what you want to read into it. Let me again state, that i saw the barricade, there was an area in the barricade to allow 'thru traffic' thru....hence the since "Road Closed to thru traffic"...dont you normally see a space in the road where there is no barricade?? And if you took a few extra seconds to WEED the post, you'd have saw where i said i tried to make a wide turn, and i moved the barricade when i saw i didnt take a wide enough swing to make the turn past. There was a 'lane' to bypass the barricade. There was no barricade blocking 100% of the road. HAD THERE BEEN, i naturally would not have attempted a turn. Now that is just stupid.
So do yourself a favor, and read a post...then re read it to make sure you understand it, because obviously your eyes work faster than your brain.

Hey Ronnie where ya been? I was thinking about you earlier today. I was worried about you backing that parking lot into those crowded dealerships on busy 4 lane streets. You be careful driver and I hope you got 911 on your speed dial.
