Sorry Kevin

$500-600 a week won't keep a truck running.

Since Dec 1st I have put into my truck:
Charge Air Cooler and New Boots $2600
EGR Valve and New Turbo $3800
New Fuel Pump $550
New Air Compressor and Tow $2400
New Drive Tires $4000

It will take a quite a few $500 weeks to be able to save enough to make 1 minor repair (New Drive Tire) let alone a major repair.

Yeah I guess you could do anything you want in your truck when it is sitting needing repaired and no funds to repair it. If you don't have $5,000 to $10,000 sitting in the bank for repairs you will be in trouble quickly.

You are exactly right. I bought my truck in September. (2nd one). Since then, I've put about 8 grand into it. My truck payment is $1200 a month, which is about average. Making $500 a week wouldn't let you really save any money. If you can live off of that, that's great, but like you said, you wouldn't have any money for repairs. Then what??

License plates and your 2290 are almost $2200 a year. Not all companies pay that for you, I wish mine did.

I don't think some people realize all the expenses to take into account when they buy a truck. They just see $$$....

Well, I'm looking for a bottomfeeder type of company...

So I stand a good chance of leasing on with England?

Yeah, Cluggy, I'm sure they would be happy to hire you on to make their truck payments.
