Otherwise that Bulklp fellow may come along with another story and go on and on and on about how he has been sitting in another hotel for two months waiting for a truck to open up and how dragging a reefer for England is where its at. Man they pay great! 90 CPM and they start paying drops on the THIRD DROP! Insurance is $566 for liability plus 3.85% for physical damage ($320 for a 100k truck)plus $105 for occupational plus $32 for cargo. Putting us at $1023 per month for insurance. Cheap $1.25 per gallon fuel! Wow is that cheap! WHERE DO I SIGN UP!? I can't believe people sign for this garbage. I knew they were bad, but that's beyond ridiculous. Wait a minute, 1.5 CPM off for "fuel tax purposes" yet the fuel is capped at $1.25? How does that work? I have a feeling the bean counters at CR england have no idea how IFTA actually works. Maintenance 7 cpm? at 10k miles a month: $9000 to the truck 21 CPM for fuel, $2100 insurance $1023 per month 8.5 CPM for "fuel tax escrow" and "maintenance escrow" $850 Putting us at $3,973 for expenses, $5027 after expenses. 50 CPM before even paying for the truck or any maintenance/repairs is pathetic. I know company drivers that make 50 CPM.
