Ill be honest...I left Gary in 1958 when my family moved to Mokena IL for a few years and then to California in 1963. I hadnt been back since the last family trip in 1969. I finally made it back for the first time when I started driving OTR in 2005 and I was quite surprised when I got there...

What they need is a nice controlled tacticle nuclear blast and then bulldoze the entire area and start over.

well, i be. the points that were made here recently were what i have been trtying to tell lbj and others for a year now...i guess i am just not polittically correct in the way that i approached it. i would like to add however that on another thread, the one i started of the definition of otr, i offered a hundred dollar bill to lbj if he named the company that he worked for..that was almost two weeks ago. go figure. i would also like to thank belbre for the way he apologized and hopefully recognized that there are ways to guide people and educate people, and the way that he and the others were doing it is wrong. hopefully it was sincere and you do what you said in that post. further more i would like to offer my appologies for my language and personal attacks to anyone that was offended...well not lbj, he is a blowhard. that is all, thank you...ac/dc rocks. new song on the radio now, and new album and world tour in october...i can't f'ing wait.

No, it was just that the complaints built up to a breaking point.

Belpre was sincere in his apology, I have no doubt. I've no issues at all with a local guy hyping the local running and if it's what he likes to do, more power to him. He just got caught up in the OTR vs. Local flamefest, but has now moved beyond it and is more than welcome to remain as a standup poster here. There are a few others that can take the hint from him or move beyond ClassADrivers. It's just that simple, because we're done with warnings.

I believe he is sincere as well. I have no doubt that he can contribute a lot to this board and its members. Good for you Belpre.
