4 year DeLorme user here, as well. It's priceless. I have a 14" display on my laptop. It beats the heck out of the tiny 3-4" displays you'd get with a stand alone GPS.

I have also upgraded my internet access to a Sprint air card. If there is ever any doubt about directions I simply go online, from just about anywhere, and get additional maps, satelite images, etc.

And yes, I have and refer often to the MC Road Atlas.

Good tools, a little patience and common sense will get you through, everytime.
