The original poster seems to be thinking that turning down the speed by 2 or 3 mph will adversely affect his income I say "horse feathers!!" As the whole point of this thread seems to have absolutely no bearing on reality. The ones who obviously have ZERO real world experience seem to think we can roar down the highway all day maintaining whatever speed limit the truck can do...anyone with ONE lick of sense would know that is IMPOSSIBLE, so what bearing does turning down a truck by 2-3 mph have on our day... NOTHING, we might arrive 5 to 10 minutes later... BIG DEAL!! My truck will do 100 mph...do I do it??? Absolutely NOT! I pay for my fuel! I drive at 60...that's where I get my best fuel economy, that's where I have less stress. These dopes have maintained that you can do the speed limit all day...let's get into the REAL world... for crissake how can you use an example for illustration purposes when it has ZERO bearing on REALITY???? Now, if you want to have a REAL discussion about this... something that HAS it's basis is REALITY ...which btw some of these "people" who have posted some of their meaningless comments obviously are not grounded in, you should be talking about the differences in fuel economy, wear & tear on both equipment & driver...THEN we will be having a discussion that is truly based on REALITY...not some idiots dream!

First you insist there is "ZERO" effect, then you concede that a person will have to drive an extra 5-10 minutes. It is probably closer to 20-40 minutes of unpaid time, but even one second of lost time proves my point.

Then if leaving is not an end of all discussion then what is? Some goobers & putzes also suggested another option. Get your own truck. So your arguments did nothing to negate mine. You already conceded my only point, so I am done with you.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that to get from point A to point B at 62 mph is going to take longer than 65 mph. If that is the best point you can come up with, the entirety of your posts is laughable at best.
