The best burger joint in the USA?

There used to be a great burger place near the Galleria in Houston called Tommy's. They had the best Mesquite burgers, fries and onion rings I can recall in recent years. I haven't been there in some time.

Primanti Brothers has pretty damn good burgers...if you wanna call them burgers... meat pattie on italian bread topped with cheese, tomatoe, cole slaw and french fries...Mmm
But I remember that place and that burger, while thinking cole slaw and fries on the burger?!? :? I love burgers myself and have tried a lot in a lot of different places. But, believe it or not, I am partial to a Double Whooper with Cheese from Burger King. I still think it's one of the best burgers around and has the best ratio of meat to toppings. Go figure. Still, my absolute favorite sandwich in the world has to be a Steak Sandwich from Cassano's Pizzeria. Been years since I had one...next time I'm out to Ohio, I'll be looking for one.

It's near a little town called Sutersville, PA tucked WAY back in the woods all by itself...You almost have to find it by accident, but yeah, the best in the world...I think I'm gonna go get some now! Great burgers, Excellent hotdogs and the fries are cut right there and the Chili for the dogs are homemade(weekend trip, guess I'll go vist the mom-in-law, gives me an excuse to go to the Red Cabose )

Zebb's (which has a few locations here in WNY) has great burgers. Homemade buns, fresh ground beef, and they cut their own fries, too (get 'em with gravy). Also, they have fantastic chocolate chip cookies.

)I'm thinking about fishing the river this weekend down by the elizabeth bridge, maybe that'll give me a reason to give it a shot.

In-N-Out, hands down. Unfortunately, only found in CA, NV and NM. There's a little place in Elyria, OH, called Midway Restaurant. Their signature burger is the Oh Boy, and let me tell you, it's a great burger. The last time I was there (10 years or so ago?) it was located on Lake Ave, but not that far off of SR2/I90, SR57, the turnpike (I80) or US6. Worth looking for if you find yourself in the area.
