Just kidding, of course, but Geez! What a question to ask? [not to MENTION the way you asked it] If a person says they have a genius I.Q., they are ridiculed. If they say they have a moron I.Q. the same.

I can think of only ONE other "measurement" that is more sensitive to a man! Why don't you ask THAT one next??

Here is something fun to try. It's a basic logic problem. If you find this interesting you can buy puzzle books of this type.

Don't post the answer. It's easy to look up.

Einstein give us a puzzle like this, for he stressed examining assumptions, and once wrote: "The important thing is to not stop questioning."
Facts:
1. There are 5 houses in 5 different colours
2. In each house lives a person with a different nationality..
3. These 5 owners drink a certain beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar and keep a certain pet.
4. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same drink.
1. The Brit lives in a red house.
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
3. The Dane drinks tea.
4. The green house is on the left of the white house.
5. The green house owner drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the house right in the centre drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blend lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
12. The owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15. The man who smokes Blend has a neighbour who drinks water.

The question for the Einstein test is ... WHO KEEPS THE FISH?

SteveBooth;

It may interest you to know that over 20% of the people serving time in The Texas Prison System test out as being "Gifted and Talented", as do may people living in homeless shelters.

IQ is only part of the equation; it measures a person's Intelligence Quotient, but does not necessarily register proper training of the mind. Many people with high IQ's also suffer from mental illness and/or emotional disorders
.
That's pretty interesting. I didn't know they do IQ testing on homeless and inmates. Must be a government funded project I'm guessing.
Yes, some shelters DO receive government funding; other help comes in the form of individual donations, support from foundations, and mental health care professionals who donate their time and materials.

Were there more emphasis placed upon mental health care in America, our homeless populations could be significantly reduced, as could our prison populations as well.

As a whole, society does not want to pay for that care, yet, in terms of what we lose in terms of crime and lost productivity, we pay far more in the end.

How much can it COST to "test" inmates? Heck, you can do it online for FREE! I would think that this is a VERY reasonable use of any government money appropriated..... to help understand the criminal mind!

As for the homeless..... MANY of them are veterans, and have ALREADY been tested. But, again..... how much trouble or cost is involved in testing them when they come to a shelter for a bowl of soup?

Spending government money to study the DNA of BEARS is obviously a waste..... but spending a buck or two per individual who make up TWO of the most costly and disturbing examples of American socio-economics and "class" SURELY can't be considered a waste of money!

You can't FIX a problem that you don't UNDERSTAND. The only question is.... do you WANT to fix the problem??

Yeah, I'm one of those that posted earlier with a so-called 'genius' IQ and I'm also a driver. My education is extensive and I hold more than one degree. Why, you may ask, am I driving? Simple really. I tried working in the white collar world for several years and absolutely despised it. Getting up and going to work every day was simple torture. Being trapped in an office surrounded by all the brown nosing, office politics, and all that came with that sort of career made my stomach turn.

I enjoy the open road and traveling around the country seeing the beautiful sights. I enjoy being alone most of the time. I generally don't get along with people very well and I never will. Driving is the perfect job for someone with my mindset and personality. I don't allow my brain to rot out there either; I still study extensively, I keep up with advances and new technology in my degree fields constantly.

I drive because I choose to, not because I have to.
I have to agree with you Silverwulf. You get tired of competeing in the big rat race. I have never looked down on truckers, I always, even before I decided to start driving, watched and gave respect to the drivers by looking ahead giving them a chance to get over so they didn't have to brake, to keep them moving down the road. My wife always use to ask when we were traveling why I would flash my brights at them, and then their turn signal pop on and they would switch lanes. People are in such a hurry anymore, that they don't respect anyone. Just like jobs, they don't care who they step on. I would rather drive by myself, than worry if I'm going to strangle the idiot that wants to stab you in the back to get ahead in the company! Plus, I've always like driving around the country.

Considering that there are MANY animals that can be kept as pets, and nowhere does it mention that ONE of them keeps fish....

There is not enough data here to determine WHICH, if any of them, keeps fish.

I DOUBT that is the correct answer, and I didn't "look it up." But, nevertheless.... it is true. There is not enough data. THAT is one mistake Einstein would never make.

Actually, Golf,

An on-line IQ test is of rather limited value, especially where psychological endocrine disorders, and emotional disorders are involved. Where you find intelligent prisoners or intelligent homeless people, you'll usually find some combination of those disorders,

Remember as well that accurate diagnosis is only part of the equation; other parameters such as substance addiction, histories of violent abuse, sexual abuse, and violent sexual abuse can not be calculated by an on-line test, but they also figure in to developing a workable rehab / therapy program.

There's plenty of information there to figure out the problem, simple logic.

There are 4 animals listed, so the missing one has to be the fish.

Grab a piece of paper and a pencil, set up a grid and start plugging in the information that's given and you'll figure it out.

Interesting that the highest I.Q. for a Republican was that of a crook!

Oh, BTW..... this question has been asked before on another thread. But, of course you KNEW that.... since you're a genius!!
I have a sister whose sends me this email spam. I usually yawn or roll my eyes and delete it without reading it. But I saw this one, and thought right away...I bet this makes it into a thread topic at CAD. Guess what the other email was?? The Lemon wedge in the drink.

Yeah...I caught the democrat vs. the republican comparisons, and the bloated figures. Great minds think alike....but I can lick my balls...soooooooo... :P
