Stewpid? Hardly Stan! Actually somewhere along the line you probably were tested....you just weren't told about it. Besides, most of the tests aren't all that valuable. For ages and ages they were horribly slanted or biased based on socio-economic and cultural factors. Seems the absolute highest scores were achieved by the extremely "well to do WASPS"... No real "quantification" of raw or native intelligence.... none whatsoever.

And I got the joke tew!

My question would be, say you have an IQ of 140, but have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, does that make your IQ invalid or only part of the time your smart? Wait, what was the topic about again?

This is incredible. Truck drivers with IQ's over 140. Anything over that is genius level.

Depending on the table used...."Genius" begins at 146. Used to be lower. There's a lot of gray area in the scoring....because still today there are tests that are very slanted based on socio-economic and cultural issues. Some tests are heavily weighted in obtuse math questions....and only someone who had probably recently finished a geometry course would answer them well.

But, as to the IQ of many "truck drivers"....a few years ago a study by the "John Deere Institute".....having little to do with "truckers" did a study and found that today's "truck driver" is "better educated" than the "average American". An interesting thought. I think there are a lot of very intelligent drivers in the industry....some of them just lack the common sense that a gopher possesses and some know they aren't all that bright, and aren't smart enough to conceal the fact....

I fall into the catagory of those that are dumb, but just bright enough to be able to hide just how dumb I really am.
