It depends where you are in Alaska. Most people think of Alaska as being a super cold place with bunches of snow and ice. Which there are parts this is true. However other part of the state are quite mild. Where the summer high temperatures in the '80's. As an example Juneau, the state capital, extremes include a maximum of 89 F in July to a minimum of -22 F in February.
