Same thing happened to me when I hired on there. Orientation was in Feb and there were guys in there sick. By the time I left 3 days later I was sick too. Shouldn't be bad this time of year, though.

Default this time of year? it is flu time

are you kidding? flu shots are being given out already! as 1st of October, but if you like being ill go 4 xpress they let you sit alot and make alot of empty promises.

That bunkhouse sounds just like George Mason Universities one dorm system. Thankfully I did not have the chance to stay in those but here is what I saw on visits to friends in them. It was basically a small double-wide/trailer park. You had 6-8 people in there with a small common area/living room and the kitchen was part of that area. The bedrooms were 2 to a room and they were half the size of a normal dorm room(15'x12'.) It was the same if not worse than being in jail with how small the rooms were.

Heh. But at least at the US Express bunkhouse you don't have to worry about being shanked in the yard or raped.

But you do at many truck stops I hear.
Them Yard Lizards are pretty tough and most truckers carry large sums of money they are after.
Well not new student truckers.

CrazyTulip here - I hear ya on getting sick during orientation! We went through orientation last week and I'll be damned if I didn't get sick right after it! Still having bronchitis.....guess I should've taken Airborne before going to class :lol:
