Hey Roadie, went up to Lafayette, IN today. Thatis the last of the road trips. I'm going in tomorrow and Sunday to brush up on pre-trip and skills.

I take my CDL skills test 10/8/07 at 11:00am!

Congrats on the final trip! BOL on your test! Is your school providing the testors? (3d party for the state?) Thats what we will do, same guys (instructors) will test us, so that will ease some of the nervousness I think.
What company are you planning on driving for? Got a date set yet?

I spent about 2 hours doing nothing but the offset backing and parallel park. I told my instructor to just stay outta the way and let me do my thing. By the end I did the offset back 5 times in a row with no pull-ups and nailed the parallel park each time (you are allowed to GOAL on the parallel park).

I told my instructor that I am ready to take my CDL test skillswise but need more work on pretrip. I have 3 drives left, so I should be good. One of those drives we go to Lafayette, IN and back.
Glad to see things are going smooth for you!!!! BOL on testing day, although I doubt you will need it as it sounds like you're doing just fine.

Thanks DD,

I did pretrip today and didn't miss a single item. We went to the testing site after that to practice skills and had no problems there.

We watched a guy in a CRST truck test. He was fine until the parallel park and he blew it!! He looked pretty pissed of when he was told to get out of the truck and walk back to the front.

I don't know how it is elsewhere, but in Indiana it costs $100 EACH time you take the test! That's a pretty good incentive to get it done right the first time.

Hey DD, are you gonna let us know who you're going with any time soon?

Hey Colts Fan

BOL on your test Monday, I'm sure you won't have any problem at all.

Does Randy test Monday also? I need to call him and see who he decided to go with. I might do that tomorrow, I don't like bothering people on Sunday. Who have you chose to go with ?

Take care and good luck this week !

Hey, I am pretty sure Randy does his test tomorrow afternoon. He's doing well and should be fine.

I'm not sure who he's going with. He seemed pretty interested in TMC or Maverick. He wants to do flatbed.

As for me I am interested in a company with the initials OD.

However, nothing is written in stone yet.

Arrrrrrrgh!!! I failed the test.

I went to GOAL during the parallel park and the guy failed me for not getting out of the tractor correctly!!!

Now I have to come off another $100 to take the test again.
