I have a lunch box oven bought it for $16 a long time ago still works well it plugs into cig lighter, good for soup, ravioli, chicken & dumplins or other can foods, but takes 30+ min to heat, use foil mini loaf pans so no clean up heat and eat out same pan and toss, can also heat water for instant coffee  in a pinch, or heat hot dogs. bol to ya
Unless you are buying the pans at Wally-world where they are cheaper than truckstops   , I have used one for a long time and what I use is "small oven bags or crock pot liners". They cost even less, and take up less room. But if you use them.....do not tie the bag shut.....it will go BOOM!! Uh, emmm, ahem, been there, done that!!

ok your gonna think im really stupid but oh well. I have only used an invertor 1 time all the other times I have had an APU unit with the 110 plug. I went a bought a 400 watt inverter to power my 13 inch color tv and dvd player. It will not power the tv on. That is the only thing I had hooked to it also. It just keeps surging. I will go nuts without a tv at night what can I do? I thought it was a bad inverter but I tried my buddies to and it still wont work. I leave in the morning so I would like to try and get this fixed tonight.

You're not "stupid"....please read on.

Thats kinda weird, because I use a 300 watt plug-in inverter to power my 13 inch TV and it works just fine. Now in this International 2007 9200i, there is a 12v socket under the TV shelf, and if I plug it in that one....it doesn't work worth spit....but if I plug it in one of the others, like one of the two in the dashboard it works just fine....so it could be the socket itself.

The problem may also be that if the truck is not brand new with you as the first driver, the previous driver may have screwed up the socket. Or it could be dirty. Try cleaning the contact surfaces in the socket with isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip. You may rectify the problem that way. Also clean the contacts on the plug for the inverter. If that doesn't help, try one of the other sockets.

Weird..... Could it be the TV? How big is the TV? Mine is a 110V 13 inch thing I got at Wally-world.....it works though.

I would have to guess that something in the TV's main transformer is acting up....because an 80 Watt TV is not going to screw up a 400 Watt inverter. Does the TV work OK when plugged into a 110V wall outlet?
