You could just replace the fuse with a 10 gauge wire...That should solve the problem..

Thats like putting a penny in an old style 110V fuse box.....and lots of houses burnt down because of it.... :shock:
If I absolutely couldn't hook up an inverter directly to the batteries, then I would measure the distance from where the inverter will be used to the positive stud on the battery box (Internationals) or under the hood (KW's)
then double the distance, consult with an expert as to the proper gage of cable to be used and hook it up when needed, and disconnect when done.
NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE A LARGE INVERTER WITHOUT HAVING THE TRUCK RUNNING AT A HIGH IDLE.....YOU WILL EAT THE BATTERIES QUICKLY AND HAVE TO GET A JUMP START!!
