I've been out of the loop for a while, but just curious what the average per mile is for a company driver... I'll be on the road in a few weeks here, and the company I'll be driving for i'll be making 46.5 cents a mile. (average 2500, 2800 miles per week) Home weekly!!!
Is this average?

![]() Yeah...I think you discerned this right. Pretty good rate too for someone that's been "out of the loop" ...and the exclamation points on the home weekly ...he knows this is way too good for average. ![]() Yep...I hate him. :P :?

I'm not even trying to bragg!!!! I just asked a simple question because I didn't know.... I have never had a driving job that payed by the mile, And I never really payed attention to the current pay at any time . when I drove regional I was paid by the hour because of the amount of downtime I had and loading/unloading myself.
I appoligize if I give the impression that I am bragging. That was not my intention of this thread!!!! |
