Average per mile pay?
 

I've been out of the loop for a while, but just curious what the average per mile is for a company driver... I'll be on the road in a few weeks here, and the company I'll be driving for i'll be making 46.5 cents a mile. (average 2500, 2800 miles per week) Home weekly!!!

Thats great for a company driver,...when I was one in 99 I got payed 24 cpm. :evil:

I think that the poster is not so much asking if his pay is good, but rather is bragging about how good it is :roll:

Pretty good rate too for someone that's been "out of the loop"

I'm not even trying to bragg!!!! I just asked a simple question because I didn't know.... I have never had a driving job that payed by the mile, And I never really payed attention to the current pay at any time . when I drove regional I was paid by the hour because of the amount of downtime I had and loading/unloading myself.

I appoligize if I give the impression that I am bragging. That was not my intention of this thread!!!!
