Houston had the same thing happen last Friday- a diesel tanker lost it on the SB US59 onramp to EB I-10. The bridge didn't collapse, but it will have to be replaced.

Driver dead.

Uh oh...who would have thought that this accident would bring out the foil hat people and the silly 911 debate again..
First of all, look at the pictures of the bridge. That steel didnt melt....it warped. And actually a fire at a relativly low temperature can cause steel to warp. The beams of the bridge heated up, they warped...the weight of everything else brought it down.....No steel melted.

Just saw the carnage on MSNBC. The Governator is saying that all public transportation is free until the disaster is repaired. I'm sure the taxpayers of CA love that one.

They are saying that it will be millions to repair it. Next, they have to demolition the rest of the overpass befor building a new one. Talk about a disaster, this overpass collapsed onto one of the busiest freeways in the Bay Area.

It is going to be a clusterfu*# for a while in that part of CA. But I'm sure the Governator will terminate the problem like he did so well in the '80s.

In reguards to the 9/11 argument I saw on this post, when a jumbo jet crashes into the MIDDLE of a building, the structure is weakened to a point where the weight of the top portion, above the impact zone, causes the collapse. IT'S CALLED GRAVITY.

For the sake of argument, if 9/11 was an inside job, which I think it was not, it was most likely a black operation carried out by the CIA, MI6, or the MOSSAD. Very unlikely though.

The driver escaped just before the overhead ramp collapsed -- the fire had melted its steel undergirders. When the smoke cleared around daybreak Sunday, one ramp was draped like a comforter over the lower connector.
In another article it said the bolts holding the connecters toghther melted causing the collapse,not sure if either is right,just giving info

Just so ya'll know, the WTC fires were burning a LOT hotter than this tanker fire. Jet Fuel burns at a much much much higher temp, it was said to be around 5,000 Farn.

I can see the bolts melting here and the steel warping over melting.

What I don't understand about these conspiracy theorists is how they think the buildings were detonated. How can they not understand that buildings can fall when a 747 crashes into it. It doesn't need bombs to come down.

The funniest theory I've read is a claim that lazer-particle beam satellite weapons from space caused the buildings to fall. LOL.

did ya ever come across a bad accident just moments after it happened & ya scratch your head because you just cant figure out who was traveling which direction & how did one vehicle end up here if it was traveling such & such a way ???? thats how i thing some people think cover up a lot of times. the scene or story just dont make sense. or they cant make sense of it.

im shure this guy has been a tanker yanker for a while... maybe that wet skin, fool from the posts earlier in the yr who thought driving a tanker was as easy as it could and was a "super trucker" from san fran who earned some 200,000 a yr as a company driver with only 6 months of experiece can learn something from this tragety.
