It like the high side of a 13 speed......if that helps at all.

Well if you haven't driven one, it's tough to get used to, i like them because in reality you only shift 5 times. Each hole has 2 gears, so your low hole under reverse serves 1st and 2nd gear, next hole on the top serves 3rd and 4th, and so on. You do not have a high low selector, rather you'll have a button on the side of your shifter, could be red, or just standard black in color, this acts as your splitter for the gears, when it's in the forward position you get the high side of the gear you're in, and when you're button is at the bottom you're on the low side of that gear, or should i say the lower gear. It's tough to explain, you've gotta get in there and figure it out for yourself, it's similar to the high side of a 13 speed if you've ever driven one of them.

Here is the Eaton-Fuller WEB page for the RoadRanger Super 10. There is a link to an instructional video at this page.

While training, I never seen or heard of a super 10. The Night I got my own truck, and load was a snowy December night. I got a Truck with a Super 10. Duh How do you operate it? I looked at the pattern on the dash and off to St Loius I was gone....

I liked the Super 10 better than the Straight 10........of course my husband told me I was nuts......He's playing with 13 Super gears today. Once I got the hang of flipping the splitter from one to two then moving the stick to three flipping the switch to four and so on, just liked it better personally, I know everyone has their own favorites but that was mine....course it could have had something to do with the clutch actually being adjusted right on that truck and wasn't so good on the one we had before that one too........
