Yeah. Also, lots of lights, chrome, straights, lights, and speed 8)

Hauling cows is a different world. You dern sure gotta know how to distribute weight. Cant be too heavy up on top, nor either side. Cow trailers are top heavy, even loaded right. Cant take off fast. Gotta take off slow. Dont want those cows falling over. That's why those boys run 15, and 18 speeds in those Peters. When coming to a curve, let off way early. Dont want to roll over on a curve. Once you get out there on the strait a way, you can pin the ears back. There are different types, and makes of trailers. Wilson,(Silver Star), Merritt,(Cattle Drive), Barrett, and others. There are different ways of hauling different size of livestock. Most run cattle/calf trailers. Allows you either haul fat cattle, or smaller. Then they also make trailers for go-go girls, which have shorter levels in the trailers. Most trailers have different floor options. Depending on the trailer, and the size, you can haul anywhere from 65-70 head, up to 85-90 head of cattle.(if I remember right)

trucker444, if you are interesting in hauling cows, or just more info, PM bull hauler. He is a bull hauler. He comes around every so often. I dont know of any companies that will "train" you on hauling cattle. There are some companies out there. Not all cow haulers are owner operators. Most of them hire well experienced cow haulers. I'v ridden with a cow hauler, but I dont have enough experience. Wouldnt want to anyway. You gotta be high strung. :P You might do some searching, and see what you come up with. Good luck.

While I was getting my first DOT, I saw a few Cattle trucks come through with some Pigglets on it. These little fellows were sticking their little noses throught the holes of the trailer.. Maybe that why the DOT did not hit me harer, they were in a good mood laughing at them..
