Up here they shut off Logging Operations during deer season-That's 2 weeks because they don't want to disturb the hunters-It's a Mutual understanding kind of thing.

Time off all depends on whether you're a O/O or driving for a O/O

I've even hauled Cherry Logs down to your State-Seymour

Cool. That part of the state is nice. Real pretty in the fall if you are into checking out the leaves of your future cargo. Cherry is one of my favorite wood. Just love the color.

I will probably talk to the guy I may drive for tomorrow night over a drink. Will ask about time off. I like to drive but like most, I like to goof off a bit too. lol

That Scale in Seymour Isn't very Pretty-Specially that Woman DOT Cop-She's pretty tough but didn't cause me too many problems
That was awhile back-Maybe she's retired now

Talked to the truck owner last night. As it turns out, it looks like I would make runs between Terre Haute Indiana and Marion Wisconsin. Not sure which Marion WI it is. One of the online maps says there are 4 Marions in WI. But, I do know its a little over 400 miles from here. For the most part I will do 2 runs there and back a week. Out Monday morning home Thursday afternoon. Pay = 30% or in this case approx. .80 a mile.
