Thanks for the kind words . I receive my warrant when I was 20 for a small traffic violation I thought my lawyer took care. God is the only one whose judgment I will take to heart. BTW I called the the court system in CA after posting this I'm cleared no record. But thanks for making me feel welcomed into the trucking world.

Think so??? Try telling THAT to a company's Safety Director, a DOT Officer the first time you are pulled behind the chicken house!! But thanks for making me feel welcomed into the trucking world.

SO A WARRANT IS SAYING YOU ARE PRESENTLY ILLEGAL TO WORK TILL YOU IRON OUT THAT WARRANT...NOT SAYING YOU CANT GET A JOB, BUT YOU JUST CANT GET ONE WHILE YOU ARE ILLEGAL...

Well, you could have gotten the opposite. You could have had a bunch of people sugar-coat things for you and never would have known. The fact that everyone is up in arms about your post should be a clue to it's seriousness.
An outstanding warrant isn't what you would call a minor thing with any job, particularly a trucking job. Have an outstanding warrant, go to orientation, find yourself arrested before lunch time. If you have it taken care of, great. The question is now moot. If you don't have it taken care of, everyone's replies are dead on relevant. |
