I have been told that some Trucking companies do not provide chains for company drivers. Could anyone read this please just put the company down and weather or not they provide chains for their drivers?
Thanks To start this off: Swift Transportation - Yes

This I've really never run into... but ok...
Arrow Trucking - Yes - chains or cables Roehl Transport - Yes Swift Transportation - Yes, but not always a rack to put them on the frame, so sometimes you've got to carry them in the side boxes.

YES I can tell you a company that does NOT buy chains for their trucks. COVENANT TRANSPROTATION. They will run you in states that requare chains and if you don't have them YOU PAY the ticket. We had to pay for our truck chains and our dispatcher (JOSH) told us ....well the company will deduct it out of your paycheck at $25.00 per week if we didn't have the money up front! soooo I guess when you move on to a better company we will own a nice set of 22.5X10 truck tire chains.

To make it simple: You driver- truck theirs. No chains, no go in states requiring chains. if they want you to do the job, they must provide you with the tools. unless you are an indepentent contrator, you should not have to supply anything but yourself and maybe a pen  Hope this helps! Dont let them shaft you! Refuse a load going to a chain requirement state unless they authorize a Comcheck coming out of their pocket for chains or providing chains by other means. Document correspondence.
