Throw the bottles out.
I hate those things, I don't fit! I have found the best way to number one in the truck, is to use a Ziploc bag. Not just any bag, it must be the Ziploc brand 1 quart FREEZER bags. Any other brand, or non freezer bag will normally leak. I keep an office type waste basket in the truck with plastic liners (garbage bags) from Sam's Club. I throw the bags in the trash, not the parking lot, preferably a dumpster. I hate having to do that in the truck, but sometimes you have little choice.

I know i'm a bit paranoid, but if I'm someplace where the lighting is bad and/or there isn't much foot traffic, I'm not going to get out of my truck if I can at all help it.
Sure, piss bottles are disgusting. So are most public toilets as is not bathing everyday. But as they say in the mob: "This is the life we chose."

I was looking at a portable toilet at an outfitter store. It was a small chemical toilet. It actually had a toilet seat and a lid. The pooh and such drops into a lower chamber when you flush it. The lower chambe is air tight (except when you flush it). It has a water tank for fresh water and a holding chamber that you put a small amount of chemical in. When you come to a rest area or truck stop, you can pull the lower chamber loose from the rest and dump and rinse it out. Then fill the fresh water chamber, put a little chemical in the bottom one and you're good to go. It is about 16" square and stands about 12" tall. It runs about $69. I thought it would be perfect for those who, for the most part, live out of your truck. No more getting up in the middle of the night and getting dressed to go potty!
I have read a lot about pee bottles/bags. But, I haven't heard anyone talk about using this type of toilet. Does this sound like something truckers would use?

As far as your camp toilet. Sounds a little big for a truck.
They make one designed for truck drivers, or should I say trucks. A buddy told me about it the other day. He saw it in LandLine magazine (OOIDA). But he is the kind of guy that likes to be first one in in the morning. I normally stop at the nearest truck stop to where I have to deliver, or pick up, and take my time. I pull a flat bed, and normally am able to tell all parties concerned when I would like to deliver or pick up. It works out pretty good that way. Myself, I think it all boils down to how you plan your trip. I know my bowels, and plan my meals and stops accordingly. In 17 years out here, I have only had to use the woods once.

Holding your urine too long and too often can cause lots of problems. It can cause bladder infections, urinary tract infections, infections in your kidneys, kidney stones, etc.....
