I'd just as soon DH didn't eat at all so that we could pay the rent and the electricity and the car note and be able to have groceries.
I cannot relate at all to this post. DH has gone through 600 bucks in a month of advances. Job before this, he didnt have 200 a month. His son is hungry.

they must hav amagic truck that needs no fuel..cause i am certain if they stopped for fuel you husband could run inside and get some grub for the road. but then again, maybe the dispatcher gave them HOT load and sid no fuel for the truck or drivers till it gets delivered...that is probably what happned now that i think about it cause there ain't no one dumb enough not to eat or drink anything substatial for 36 hours, is there??

Once you start in on those advances it is hard to dig your way out. Only time I ever would get an advance was for company expenses like tolls, scale fees, etc. Never for personal reasons. Sounds like next time he comes home you need to send him back out with a couple of jars of peanut butter and some bread and a few cases of water and tell him if he takes out any more advances then he might as well not come home.

Thats good that he is getting his feast on. I cant go more then 2 hours with out water I drink lots of it. I don't think me and that trainer would be together vary long and wouldnt ever be the best of friends. Espeaclly if he gets food and I don't thats a big no no in my book.
