thnx! Yeah, I'd talk 'horses' on here all the time if ya'll would let me!

She is 13 this year. I actually bred 3 mares last year, but shes the only one that settled. Hubby found her a year ago 'hiding' in someones back yard- the people were afraid of her, let us take her for $600; well gee, she is dead broke, and has a fantastic pedigree! Their loss I guess. i'll try n' put a pic of the proud daddy on here too.

this is "Xtreme"- He's 5 this year; I've been trail-training/riding him mostly, but soon I'll be training him for show. As you can see, he loves to play!

Shyy if you want to talk about horses go right ahead. I'm sure there's others who'd love to chat about them too with you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you with the birth in April. Let us know how things turn out o.k.? Drive safe everyone.

A green light?!! Yeehaw- but don't say I didn't warn ya!

I've had 3 horses die within 5 years (2 mares were pregnant, so 5 if ya count the babies) - just 'freik occurances'- nothin' I did wrong (according to all the vets, friends, etc). I think when you want something so bad, the powers that be really put you to the test. Most days I want to get out of it, and just go OTR w/hubby- not sure if I am cut out for that though. Horses are the one thing that I'm good at, but 'living your dream' comes w/a price I guess. Anyway, that is why I'm on edge right now- don't know if I could watch another one die in front of me; I'm talking horrible- blood all over, and not a dang thing you can do to save them- just hope the vet gets there quick so you can put them out of their misery. ANYWAY...... Will definetly show ya'll the pics of 'it' when he/she gets here!

Those are some beautiful pictures you have there, best wishes to the momma and baby that all goes well and you have some new baby pictures to share when the time is right.......my husbands sister (an over the road trucker herself) has within the past year finally realized her dream of owning her own horse, she has some lovely people here that take care of her 'baby' while she's on the road and she spends most if not all her free time over there with her 'baby' when she gets back in ..... Keep us posted, we'll be waiting to hear some good news

Thought I'd show ya my old girl; "Galaxy"- been w/me for 20 yrs now, she is almost 30, has some arthritis, and is about 75% deaf. I've done EVERYTHING with this mare- chased cows, barrel racing, parades, camping, shows, swimming in the lake, taught her how to drive once, but only hooked her up to a cart a few times, and shes got more miles on her than some of yer super trucks!
