I'd rather they gas on it and get on out there 'cause I'm probably slowing down.

Losing sight of a 4wheeler coming around isn't a problem for me. It's when they get in a blind spot and stay there that causes problems. When 4wheelers beep at me I always think something's wrong with my equipment.

 

I'd rather a driver flash the lights on and off.. I don't like having the high beams flashed at me. Just my personal preference.

Don't worry, I don't stay on the side long enough to be in a blind spot. I want by you guys as fast as possible.

Ever think of painting on the underside(frame) of the trailer, "as long as you're in my blind spot,.... want to tell me how things look under there"!!! LOL

 

I really have seen some Swift trucks lately that have a "You're in my blind spot" signs on them.

 

I was amazed when trucks had to put the wide right turn signs on the back ends.

Talk about your idiot labels.

But then again, you'd be amazed at how many times I've found myself saying, that doesn't imply they make sharp left turns.

 

I don't feel too bad. I developed the flashing when you are clear habit ages ago in college and driving alot at night. I prefer a momentary flash simply because it is often hard to find the switch, compared to the light stalk in what I'm used to driving.

Now, when riding a motorcycle, I have a bit different approach, as I tend to wait until I have a complete clear shot past the truck and then get and go...but I hate getting trapped by a car and am stuck beside a truck in the wind and everything else. But....that's a whole different ball game.

I've started waving at the driver in the mirror. Hubby says "whatever it takes to let them know we are there"!! It usually works.

Besides, I like to make people smile!!!!!!

 

Whatever! Just don't use your high beam, and be specific, if you on CB! "You've got it, big truck", didn't cut it! There may be 20-30 "big trucks", within your range! :lol: Also, i strongly sujest, that regardless, of that inventation, you gotto make sure, "you've got it" 8)
