Default Miles vs Home Time

Pay stays the same on all. For every six days on the road you get one day at home.

Which would you prefer?

The rate of pay is based on your over the road experience and the number of jobs in the last five years.

Plain and simple!

Actually - right now (running percentage rate), I average 2800-3200 miles per week and get home every friday and leave on saturday.

Bad part to this: being percentage only (no deadhead pay) can have some VERY bad weeks. My last pay averaged out to .24c per mile...

OH REALLY????

Gee, maybe I won't say anything about getting paid per hour with OT...

What is interesting is that someone would want to stay out for 21 days, not realizing that the rate of pay is actually equal since the driver will be spending more on the road than the driver who is home every week...
